Adventure Trip

Every year our middle school 7-8th graders participate in Adventure Trip. This is a unique experience that brings the Montessori philosophy into the natural world. These trips are carefully planned to support personal growth, independence, collaboration, and real-world learning outside the classroom. 

 

Purpose of Adventure Camp: 

  • Develop self-reliance and independence 
  • Deepen their connection to nature and community 
  • Learn responsibility through shared work and living 
  • Build leadership, teamwork, and resilience 
  • Experience education beyond the classroom in a meaningful way

This is part of Dr. Maria Montessori's "Erdkinder" vision, which emphasizes preparing adolescents for adult like through real-world, purposeful experiences.
