Art

Our Elementary and Middle school Art classes offer a creative and enriching environment where students from Pre-K through 8th grade can explore, create, and express themselves through visual art. .

Elementary School Art:

  • Explore basic elements of art: line, shape, texture, form, and space
  • Work with various materials and techniques, including drawing, painting, collage, and sculpture
  • Learn about famous artists, cultures, and personal expression
  • Develop fine motor skills, creativity, and personal expression
  • Make connections between art and other subjects like math, science, and literature
  • Display their work in the hallways, school exhibits, and art shows.

Focus is on process over product- students are encouraged to take creative risks, try new things, and enjoy art making
