Art

Our Elementary and Middle school Art classes offer a creative and enriching environment where students from Pre-K through 8th grade can explore, create, and express themselves through visual art. .
Elementary School Art:
- Explore basic elements of art: line, shape, texture, form, and space
- Work with various materials and techniques, including drawing, painting, collage, and sculpture
- Learn about famous artists, cultures, and personal expression
- Develop fine motor skills, creativity, and personal expression
- Make connections between art and other subjects like math, science, and literature
- Display their work in the hallways, school exhibits, and art shows.
Focus is on process over product- students are encouraged to take creative risks, try new things, and enjoy art making
