LAMM BAND
We’re proud to offer two levels of band for middle school students—JV (Junior Varsity) and Varsity—to support students at every stage of their musical development. Our goal is to help students grow as musicians, teammates, and confident performers.
JV (Junior Varsity) Band
- Designed for beginning or early intermediate musicians
- Focuses on fundamentals: posture, tone, rhythm, note reading, and ensemble playing
- Open to students with litter or no prior experience
- Emphasis on skill-building and preparation for Varsity Band
- Performs in school concerts and local events

Sofia Guerra - Assistant Director of Bands
Varsity Band:
- Advanced-level band for students who have demonstrated strong musicianship and responsibility
- Open by audition or director recommendation
- Students must have experience reading music and playing their instruments
- Performs in concerts, parades, and competitions
